MIC picks Consultant Anywhere to support SMEs in digital transformation

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), with the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, the MIC selected Consultant Anywhere along with other 11 Make-in-Vietnam technology platforms to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in digital transformation.
MIC and Consultant Anywhere will provide essential support to SMEs
Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam account for more than 95 per cent of the total number of enterprises, according to the General Statistics Office, and contribute about 47 per cent to the country's GDP. Currently, 79 per cent of SMEs are still in the startup stage but are expected to grow rapidly, contributing $30 billion to the country's GDP in 2024.
Recognising the great potential of the SMEs, Decision No.749/QD-TTg about the National Digital Transformation Programme to 2025, with a vision up to 2030 was issued by the government on June 3, 2010, taking SMEs as a national development focus. To accomplish this task, the MIC implemented the programme Supporting SMEs in Digital Transformation and selected Consultant Anywhere to implement online business consulting activities for SME owners.
Consultant Anywhere is the first consultation app in Vietnam that connects experts from various fields with businesses. The app enables consulting services to be delivered via smartphone from anywhere, anytime with easy scheduling, online payment, and record-keeping with a video-call feature.
On each counselling session delivered on the app, depending on the issue, experts apply the appropriate methodology to help enterprises understand, assess, analyse, and arrive at appropriate action plans. The counselling schedule is flexible and set according to the needs of both parties and enterprises can provide feedback and rate experts transparently on the app.
